Here we go again.   The Senate has come to an agreement on a stimulus package that will probably pass.  Just barely pass, but pass.

The majority of Republicans will vote no.  But there are three, Collns, Spector and Snowe, have caved in and will support the spending bill.

Senator Mitch McConnell made comments Friday about the bill which included:

What is called in Japan the Lost Decade of the 1990’s, where stimulus packages similar to the one we’re considering tonight were tried again, and again, and again. And, at the end of the 1990’s, Japan, looked very much like it did at the beginning of the 1990’s, except that it had a much larger debt.

This is where we are header.  We will spend and spend and spend, but you cannot buy your way out of this.   No, I do not want Obama to fail, if he fails, America fails.  But we are headed in that direction, and we are not able to do anything about it.

We have to change Congress in 2010 to have any hope of not leaving our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in the mess we are travelling to now.    We need Change WE Can Believe In, But NOT with the Democrats in charge.

See, Michelle Malkin and here, Hot Air and American Elephant.
