San Francisco will soon have a kiosk at the airport, for those who feel guilty about flying, where you can purchase carbon offsets.

At the kiosk, the traveler will input their destination, the computer will then figure the cost of the offset to the environment, then, with the swipe of a credit card , viola! a receipt will print to show what will be benefitting from your guilty conscience.

For those of us who will not be feeling guilty, it is voluntary, at least for now.
