As I wrote before on the bailout for the auto industry, we should not bail them out.  The Union needs to make concessions on their part. 

Let the Detroit Big Three file for bankruptcy and reorganize.  The airlines did before and the main ones are still around and still flying.  Even if Paulson agrees to a bailout, it will not be enough.  You cannot help a company that pays people to sit around and do nothing.

UPDATE:  Robert Reich, a former Clinton administration official, said a bailout of the auto industry  should be called a Chapter 11 bailout.
