The Obama group may be rethinking about closing Gitmo now that they have starting looking into it. They were wanting to bring some of the terrorist back to the US for trial, but are now trying to figure out what to do with the ones that you can’t try, and can’t send back home. Plus, where do you hold terrorist in the US without endangering American citizens?
There are some terrorist the US could send home, but their home country doesn’t want them. hmmm, do we want them? NO! So what does President-elect Obama do with these people? He doesn’t want to look like President Bush and hold them indefinitely, especially after all the criticism. But that was/is the safest for American citizens.
President Bush has done what is best for this country, now we shall see if President-elect Obama will also.
