Rumor has it that Newt Gingrich and Michael Steele are both trying for the RNC Chair position.

Neither one is a member of the RNC, but maybe that is what we need.   The Republican base needs to be energized, and someone from the outside needs to do it.  Before today, I didn’t know who the RNC Chair was.  Dean, the DNC Chair, you heard from and knew what he wanted to do.    Mike Duncan, the RNC Chair, you never heard anything from. 

The Republicans lost two years ago and now they have lost the Presidential race.  We need a change in leadership so we can forge ahead.

Gingrich or Steele would bring the leadership we need to the Republican Party.
